The Atonkwa Project is a community-development focused partnership between the Atonkwa village in the Central-Coastal region of Ghana, West Africa and the Africana Studies program at NC State University. The project began in 2012 as a service learning component of the Ghana Summer Study Abroad Program sponsored by Africana Studies at NC State University.
